Another Me

(I wrote this poem when I was in middle school. I enjoy reminiscing and reading this I used to write, considering the fact that I was in a…really… weird mindset during that time  )

Another me sits in the mirror

I can never look me straight in the eye

The smile on the otherside seems torn

The clothes  are a disguise

But late at night when I’m asleep

covered in clouds

I see a creep

jump out of the mirror

and rip open my dreams

that then turn into nightmares

I try to run

but then it seems

I can’t escape

the end of the gun

I wish I could let it

turn to stone

I wish it would leave me alone

But I can’t hide

From the otherside

I can’t hide

From me
